Im curious of some of your own ways (most effective to you) that you've used to house trained your dog. I've seen some people say its extremely easy, and that their dog learned it in no time, while others said it was impossible (though i find that hard to believe). Im curious of some of your most Fastest and Best techniques used to house train your pups!

Take your dog out regularly following playing, eating, and drinking. Try to take it out at least once an hour. Praise him for a good job. Don't punish for an accident. Just say no and get him outside asap.

I also trained a pup to ring hanging bells when he wanted to go out. That worked until he wanted to just play with the bells.

Good luck. Some breeds take longer than others.

There is a ton of information out there regarding crate training. It takes advantage of a puppy's natural instinct not to defecate in its "den". You must be fair and make sure the pup doesn't spend too much time in the crate--use it as a training tool only, not a prison. Nothing works faster for housebreaking and keeping puppies safe.

Ok, what I did for my pound pup was to use pee pads. He learned to use those in about 1 day. After that i started putting them next to the front door and he got used to it in about 2 days. After that I took them completely away, and he would go to the front door looking for his pee pad and whine because it wasnt there, so i would know he needed to go out. Eventually he would just go to the front door and whine a little to let me know it was time.

Total time to train, about 4 or 5 days. Good luck!

well what i did was i take him out when he gets up in the morning then after breakfast and then about ever 1 1/2 to 2 hours until his bed time your puppy will have accidents so what i did was i told him no took him outside i cleaned up the area with Cleaner odor eliminator and let it dry naturally after wards spray the area with no-go house breaking aid.ever since i started using those 2 products i noticed that he has had less and less accidents inside.you can find them at petco or petsmart.also it depends on how long it will take for your puppy to learn you have to be patient with him good luck.you might want to pick up a few books on different methods or do research online good luck.you also need to be aware that they cant hold it for a long period of time so you need to consider that as well.also look for signs such as circling or if he or she starts running around for no reason mine does that when he has to go number two if you are playing with him or her and your puppy stops playing and starts sniffing and or circling take him or her outside and wait about 30-45 give them enough time i let mine out in my backyard since it is fenced i leave him out there for about that time and usually he has gone by that time frame.eventually he or she wont have an accident inside anymore.mine hasn't had one today.
