Ok, I had my belly button pierced when i was about 14, it rejected ofcourse and i got a big scar from it, i had it re-pierced twice and it also rejected, i thought because it was being pierced on a scar. i got the inverse bit done (like the normal one but upside down on the bottom part of my belly button) but this also rejected and i am left with another scar.

My problem is that i REALLY miss it and i want it re-done! I have tried many different belly bars of which were surgical steel and titanium. What else can i do to make sure this doesnt reject if i get it done again?
Should i get it done again or do u think there is no point?

my first navel piercing migrated when i was pregnant and didn't remove it soon enough. i had it repierced over the scar tissue many years later and it's fine so I don't think the scar tissue has as much impact as your body.

if i were you, i would just stop. for some reason your body keeps rejecting your peircing. too much scarring is not pretty and scars can actually hurt at some point.

Go to a professional piercing studio because they are the ones that can advise you the best. I personally do not know how long you will have to wait, but i assume it shouldnt be that long. Once you have a piercing it is then entirely upto you to look after it, and the amount of time that piercing will last before it becomes septic and infected entirly depends on you. I suggest if you get it re-pierced to leave it for a good 2-3 months without touching it. I suggest cleaning it twice a day with warm salt water and a cotton ball, or what i used when i got mine done, and i had no problems with mine whatsoever, was the savlon antiseptic spray. I used to lay on my back and spray the piercing and wait for it to be absorbed. Good luck.

No, I wouldn't do it again. Your stomach has been rejecting it and you really might be hurting yourself. Who wants another scar on their belly button? I would just forget about it.

Don't bother. Belly button piercings are definitely circa 2000 and nobody should have one. They are extremely tacky and most of the time the people that have them are about 50 pounds overweight, ew.

You're beautiful the way you are without a piece of metal in your stomach.
