Does anyone know where I can get the microsoft spreadsheet software that came on win 98? I have win xp but it doesn't have a spreadsheet program.

Sorry, but Windows 98 never shipped with a spreadsheet. No version of Windows has ever shipped with a spreadsheet program. If you purchased a new computer then the manufacturer may have included additional software with spreadsheet functionality - most likely it was Microsoft Works. You can purchase Works at most computer stores, or you can download OpenOffice, which has a free spreadsheet program bundled with it.

Spreadsheet software does not come with operating systems. Spreadsheets are their own thing. You can get Microsoft Excel for free at Office.com. It's the best one.

Purchase Microsoft Office, the spreadsheet is part of this NOT Wndows

to save mega bucks.
