There are actually two different ways to say this phrase:

1. "Eu gosto de voce"
Pronounced- "eyoo gustoo je vosay". If your friend is from Brazil this will probably be the best one to use. It is informal and commonly used there.

2. "Eu gosto de ti"
This is another way to say it. Although it is sometimes used in northern Brazil you won't here it throughout much of the rest of the country. This phrase is much more common in Portugal and the Portuguese-speaking African countries. Depending on the country the last word (ti) can be pronounced as either "chee" (mostly in Brazil) or "tee" (Portugal/Africa).

or "Gosto de você" - I like you
