Kids often get in a hurry when they use the restroom. Teach him to make sure that his bladder is emptied fully before zipping it up; also, it can take children some time to learn to control their bladder fully. Communicate with him the importance of completely finishing his business, because if he is retaining urine, it can cause UTI's and bladder infections.
