You have to remember that a lot of people today are Christian in name only and do not practice what they preach, and so are as liable to sin as any unbeliever would.
A faithful and God fearing Christian would be horrified at this thought.

This is a dogmatic trap. I'll go a step further. At what time does a man stop being a Christian, and start being a rapist? Is it when he physically violates someones body? Or did he stop being a Christian when he first got the urge? Or was he never saved from sin at all? The only question left to ask, is can anyone feel safe, ever?

Christians are still sinners. Just because one turns to Christ does not mean he/she never sins again. I know my own weaknessess and how many times I've fallen since I became a Christian. It does not take away the fact that I sin. It does produce the guilt effect, the broken heart, and seeking forgiveness once more. I think each person has a unique set of weaknessess and strengths. It is plausible to me that a man's weakness could lie in that direction. He may be saved and yet in a moment of weakness give in to the lust. Christians sometimes murder, or get drunk/high, or throw fits of anger, or any of a number of other sins. It does not mean you are perfect. It merely means that you recognize your sin, repent of it, make it right to the best of you ability, and try to move forward with the lesson you've learned.

Rape is a hideous crime against women. It certainly is very unChristian for anyone to rape.
Actually it is probably against the tenets of all religions.

Rape is an act of power. the belief of a individual apologizing for this heinous crime and waiting for to be forgiven as a results of fact he's christian is the style of pile of BS. That concept is without doubt certainly one of the justifications I so strongly reject religions. This rapist would be reincarnated for the purpose of arising atonement for his abusive aggressions. which would be his karmic criminal accountability The pagan would be reincarnated with the purpose to enhance her non secular strengthen, and her karmic criminal accountability would be to make atonement for her transgressions she committed for the duration of her previous existence. the thought that one would be cleansed of their unacceptable habit via apology, and bowing his head as he asks for forgiveness or by potential of confessing ones religiously defined "sin" to a clergyman, doing a penance of mentally asserting 10 Hail Marys, 4 apostles creed, and the prayer of the admission of guilt is purely malarkey. those "sinners" will proceed to repeat an identical adverse habit, week after week after week. Apology, so they suspect, will cleanse them. Boy, how handy.

Of course not. Christians would never do that, they never steal, kill, do drugs, no crime at all, never. They are perfect.
It's difficult to understand why prisons are full of them though...
