My arms are really needing to get toned up. I am a female and don't need the weight loss just the toning. Should they be 2,5 lb, etc.? Also, how often and how long till I see results? Thanks!

If 'toning' is the goal, then you WILL need to lose body fat. You cannot spot reduce anything, ever. Arm exercises will not decrease body fat on the arms. Leg exercises will not decrease fat on the legs. To decrease body fat all over, you must first eat clean. If you're not eating clean, you can kiss the goal goodbye. I would urge you to put the 5 pounds down and pick up a weight that will fatigue you within 8-12 repetitions. This will ensure the intensity is high enough to facilitate weight loss long after the workout is done. Good luck.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.getgoinfo.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

The weight depends on you. Use a weight you can lift easily and use that. Working with weights that are difficult to lift are likely to cause injury.

There are different exercises for the upper and lower muscles of the arms. Your local sports centre will likely have charts showing what those exercises are.

The important thing is to take it slow and steady. Exercise until the arm just starts to get tired, then change arms or the exercise type.

Good luck.

For toning get a weight that you can comfortably lift for 10-15 reps in any exercise you do. That is the toning range and remember to work out your entire body. God made our bodies into fine tuned machines and you cant just focus on one part at a time. You works better when you stay well rounded.

You should use 1/2 lb weights if you want to tone, and not bulk up your arms, also do 25 repeations on each arm.
