An identity as in just name or qualities?

The oldest manuscripts have His name listed over 6,000 times. Many superstitions and outright deciet caused the name to be removed and God or Lord substituted. That name is Jehovah. (Ps. 83: 18)

His qualities include being a spirit creature. He is niether male/female. He created humans "in our image" talking about Jehovah and Jesus. He gave us their qualities of personality. Each of us has the capacity for love, justice, wisdom, righteousness, truth. These are His qualities He posesses in perfect amounts.

He created all things and maintains He has a right to rule His creations. He offered paradise conditions for earth. He doesn't give up on anything He starts. Satan and man chose to reject God in favor of themselves ruling us. We have paid a high price for this.

Jehovah did not act rashly. He did not wipe us out to start over. He did allow time for the question to be settled as it has. His sense of justice kept us alive.

His sense of love will permit those who have died, without having a choice of who they will follow, to be ressurected to a cleansed earth and make that choice.

Even though I refer to God as he or him, for lack of nothing better, God is not human. He is spirit, energy, light. I usually refer to God as higher being or spirit.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. If you mean the same thing as "Is God a person," then yes. He'd have to be a person if he's the creator or the source of morality.

God tells you who he is in the Bible. too much to explain in a sentence. If you really want to know, then you have to do the seeking for yourself. "Seek and you shall find" it is a promise in the Bible.....

He's....God.

do you mean appearance instead? Identity is who you are...your name, social security number etc etc. Thus identity theft doesn't involve stealing your face.
