Its hard to imagine it happening, but miracles happen--the USSR broke up without a shot being fired, the Berlin Wall came down, and now there is peace in Northern Ireland. And South Africa transitioned to a Black democracy with no problems. So there is always reason to hope.

The concept that creates Israel is military power, homes, lands and everything was taken and built by using violence and the majority inside Israel still think it's a good way to live, so they don't want peace.

In the near future it is next to impossible.

both sides are deadlocked with views that are absolutely unacceptable to the other.

Currently both the leadership of the Israeli government and the PA is in turmoil.

Olmert is hated by most Israelis and he is not able or capable to manage his own country much less negotiate with another party.

Abbas cannot prevent his own Fatah members from being slaugherted by his political opponents in Hammas. He cannot form a stable government in Gaza or the W Bank.

In short the situation right now sucks all around.

The way towards peace in Israel (and all the world) is for the Messianic Jews (those who believe Yeshua, Jesus, is the Messiah) and Christian Arabs to work together in the spiritual reality until they really love each other and make unity. Jesus showed me this quite clearly when I was praying in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

They must put aside their national/racial loyalties and be loyal to Christ alone. This would show both peoples and governments, as well as the Jewish and Muslim religious people, what Christ's love really is and can lead to. This is the light that's necessary.

The Messianic Jews are in more of a position to make approaches than the Arab Christians. Palestinian Christians in the Territories cannot leave their towns to meet Jews.

I fear that neither group will make the efforts necessary due to pride, and that war, Armageddon and the Tribulation with the rule of antiChrist will be the result.

do you think we're fortune tellers?

but to answer your question, i do not think so. the Bible points to all kinds of evidence about this dark time. and i hate to tell you this, but if you read the book of Revelations in the Bible, you will find that we are in the end times today. Global warming, war in the Middle east, it's all happening.

No, I don't think so. If a foreign government came to your house and kicked you out to make room for people who lived on the land 200 years ago, you would be pretty pissed about it too.
