anyone that believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God can be called 'Christian' no matter what their sexual orientation.

The same as any others who are either identified by society by their sin, or identify themselves in this manner, or possibly even by both factors. How about all the denominations and churches that promote abortion rights, any other institutional form of sexuality (i.e., no fault divorce), and the latest sinful fad, the local church building as being sanctuaries for illegal immigrants? We all, even those of us who recognize the error of these wayward ways, are no different than those who don't and participate in such a manner. We're just enlightened and saved by grace, another beggar who just so happens to have the bread.

Anyone can be a Christian (Gays and straights) , all you have to do is read Romans 10:9, it says this,
If you Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and Believe in your Heart that he was raised from the dead you will be saved!
Not only that but we read in John the 3:14-18 this, 14. "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
15. "that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
16. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God
The Key word in these scripture is Whosoever, lets look further into this Rev 22:17 is a good one also and it is at the end of the Bible so it can not be disputed, God says this to us,
Rev 22:17And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let him that heareth say, "Come." And let him that is athirst come; and whosoever will, let him take the Water of Life freely!
theres that word again Whosoever, meaning everyone! Jesus himself called out whosoever in John the third and 4th chapter this is who he said could drink of HIS well that he owns! John 4:14 says
14but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life."
Theres that pesky word again Whosoever that includes everyone not just some! It came out of Jesus mouth an that satisfies what I think.
Let me ask you this friend do you not think that if Jesus created the world even the Universe and that I was on his mind that with all his wisdom that HE knew I was gay when he formed the Universe and laid the foundations of the Earth??
Why do we have church's? Because many times Christians wound others, as Christians we are good at wounding our own, thats because we tend to look at labels instead of looking at what the Lord has done!
Jesus is not an Indian Giver He dose not extend Grace to take it away based on someones Sexuality!
I hope this finds you in an Awesome spirit!

God created Gay people. Gay people can be and are Christians. The Church is there for gay people.
Sex outside of marriage is forbidden for all people, gay or straight. Since the Church does not recognize marriage between gay people, they are asked to be celibate as well as straight people are asked to be celibate until marriage.

obviously you have no tact at all. All the gay christians I've ever known, their church accepts them and loves them like no other. Are you speaking for all of those congregations too?

Please. The rest of you cherry pick from the bible, plenty. When was the last time you stoned someone for adultery? Because I'm pretty sure the bible tells you that's what you are supposed do.
...Or maybe that part was inconvenient so you just skip it. Hypocritical, much?
