Hi All Inputs are found on the rear of a Pre-Amp ,Integrated Amp and Home Theater Receiver.So the sound output from a DVD Player connects to the DVD in jacks.any other Line Level Device (for example a Tuner a CD Player) connects to the Aux in jacks Audio In will accept any other device that has an audio output. (I think i've got it right!).

You don't mention what the audio device is. Let's assume it's a home theater receiver. Those inputs would be external audio sources that would be then selected through your remote control or the front panel.

ok men, this is how it is, all these "INs" work the same way , they just help you work the remote control. these is so you can connect your DVD to DVD IN and listen to dvd sound when you click dvd on your remote. AUDIO IN can be connected to your cable receiver and the AUX IN to an mp3 player or laptop, thats how I did mine

they are imput devices. Such as you can hook a cd player to aux to play the cd player through the reciver
