Times Square is a total tourist spot but if you must go and want to do something memorable, you can....
Visit Madam Tussard's Was Museum
See a Broadway show
Visit an adult peep show (off Broadway on 8th/9th Ave)
People watch on the street (all types of characters roam around Times Square)
Soak in the bright lights and the neon signs after dark
Ride one of those round tandem bikes that can seat like 6-8 people
Take a horse-drawn carriage ride
Stand outside the MTV TRL Live window and maybe you'll see a celebrity being interviewed.
Look for the Naked Cowboy with his guitar and maybe get a picture snapped with him.
Just watch your purse/wallet when walking around Times Square, it can get crowded and you'll get bumped into alot. Perfect scene for pickpockets...

Just be in Times Square at 10 p.m. will shot electrical energy through you with so much exciting and awe, you will never again feel anything like it.
