Outside of the scriptures are people like Martin Luther and the Reformation, John Wesley, Billy Sunday . . .

The bible is NOT a historical document. Any "historical" elements of christianity would come to us from the modern day (i.e.; the inception of the latest pope, etc.) The entire religion is based on control through superstition & most peoples' fear of death.

Read the Bible. Jesus died for our sins and for those of the whole world. The Apostles evangelized and were martyred. The heretic, Martin Luther, broke away from the Catholic Church to start his own. There have been many saints from the time of Jesus until now.
