I guess it would depend on whether His/Her message was one I agree with and if they could prove themselves to be God

your religion and faith is nothing without God, without God there would be no religion
but if God were to come back and say He was wrong and started to teach another religion, what would make Him so special?
wouldnt he just be more like a human, having all the mistakes and shortcomings of a human, with supernatural powers?
if that happened, then the only logical conclusion i could come to would be that that person wasnt God, that even if he had supernatural powers there was someone or something of higher power, someone or something that didnt make mistakes

Interesting Question! I would just figure He/She was God and had the right to change His/Her mind and that their must have been a good reason for the change. I am open to suggestions - God is God and I would follow Him anywhere and with any title.
Besides, I am a Christian and don't believe that God is ANY religion so I don't have to worry about your question coming true - LOL.

I would merge the two religions and follow both.
For example if it said to be sabbath on sunday, and the other said wednesday, then I'd do both.
Because it could all be a test or a false-profit like the agri-christ.
Any ways, you just gotta spread out all your eggs in multiple baskets. Dont narrow your odds by betting the farm on just 1 religion.

The next time a "God" will come to earth is when He comes to take his followers to heaven. So if a god came of another religion and claimed to have the true beliefs then he would be a false prophet. And to answer your question i would still hold on to me religion.

No, I would convert to the other religion -- but this is fairly easy for me because I believe that all religions contain their truth, and that none has perfectly understood our God alone -- perhaps by learning all faiths, one might get the clearest image of our God.

I would be heartbroken if I knew for 100% that Christianity were not real. I would be skeptical because the Bible says that the Devil comes as an angel of light.

Yes I would. If I found out I was wrong I wouldnt continue following the faith, that would be pointless.

Why do so many think that God invented any religion--He did not--man did. God gave us Ten Commandments to abide by, but did not tell us to go to a particular place of worship--those are man-made.

Well first I would have to be sure that it was actually God. And if I knew 100% that it was, then I would change. But I somehow dont think that will happen

I'm a Christian and God is not coming back with a different gospel. He gave us His Word and He said not one word "jot" or "tittle" would change until all is fulfilled. Bible prophesies are being fulfilled each day.
