And vice versa? I'm all for religious freedom and freedom of expression. I was just curious.

It's a movie scene just waiting to be placed on the big screen. A pair of Jehovah's Witnesses walk up to an apartment door, ring the doorbell, and a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (complete with shaved head) answers the door. The three stare at each other for a moment before the Krishna slams the door in disgust. As the Witnesses wander away to the next apartment, one says, "God, I hate when that happens."

Honestly I don't think I have ever met one, at least not one who was preaching. If a member of the Hare Hrishnas was to offer to share his beliefs, as I do mine, I would be fine with it. There is nothing wrong with politly offering to share one's beliefs.

John baptized for repentance of sins and so when John baptized Jesus why was it necessary for Jesus to be baptized? 1 John 1:7: “If we are walking in the light as he himself is in the light, . . . the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.” (Thus, not baptismal water but the blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin.) Matt. 3:11: “I [John the Baptist] . . . baptize you with water because of your repentance; but the one coming after me [Jesus Christ] is stronger than I am, whose sandals I am not fit to take off.” (Verses 5, 6, also Acts 13:24, show that what John did was directed, not to all people, but to the Jews. Why? Because of the sins of the Jews against the Law covenant and to prepare them for Christ.) This is why Jehovahs Witnesses get baptized 23 Jesus said that his disciples would be baptized “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit.” (Matthew 28:19) This means that a baptism candidate recognizes the authority of Jehovah God and of Jesus Christ. (Psalm 83:18; Matthew 28:18) He also recognizes the function and activity of God’s holy spirit, or active force.—Galatians 5:22, 23; 2 Peter 1:21. 24 However, baptism is not a mere bath. It is a symbol of something very important. Going beneath the water symbolizes that you have died to your former life course. Being raised up out of the water indicates that you are now alive to do the will of God. Remember, too, that you have made a dedication to Jehovah God himself, not to a work, a cause, other humans, or an organization. Your dedication and baptism are the beginning of a very close friendship with God—an intimate relationship with him.—Psalm 25:14. 25 Baptism does not guarantee salvation. The apostle Paul wrote: “Keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (Philippians 2:12) Baptism is only a beginning. The question is, How can you remain in God’s love?

Hairy Krishna's are no different than any church of Christendom. They want you to join and bring your money because some pastor is getting rich off the proceeds.

That's pretty funny. I bet they do though. They're all "I was in the airport, minding my own business when this friggin Hare Krishnas came up and started preaching".. Hey, when we get home, let's go door-to-door and preach at some folk.

Me thinks JW's would love to be 'assaulted' by Hare Krishnas.
Most JW's are anxious to talk.
