You can only "delete" items that were truly never yours to begin with. You do this by "disputing" information contained within the 3 major credit repositories. Below is a list of those agencies and their contact information.

Try using an online service to see your credit report first and what your current scores are. The service will give you suggestions as to what you can do to raise your score and clue you into what is adversly affecting your score as well.

I do not kow why the above poster does not beleive your friend has an 800 score. Mine is 820. Best of all last year it was 549. Check out these links and you can fix it fairly quick. Feel free to email me and I can help (free).

No form letters for disputes.
I removed a 3 yr old bankruptcy and a repo.

Gee, 800??? Why don't I believe that? I think maybe your friend is bs'ing you.
You can place a note in your credit file disputing an item, and it will be reported along with the disputed item to a company making inquiries.

The only way to delete is if is was not yours to start with. Go to any of the 3 reporting sites and they will all give you the information to repair your credit.

I had 4 things on my credit report that were old and paid off.. I ask for them to be removed and they did and my score when up..

Try Truecredit.com good site for resorces and access to your score and report. If your friend got things deleted they were either old enough to not be of effect anymore... or they were mistakes things that were reported that shouldn't have been... or problems that were resolved but never updated... or something like identity theft. Truecredit has counselors to help you figure out what you can and should do to improve your score... good luck to ya...
