If they want you to pay ANYTHING it's a scam. If it's a true prize you should only have to pay Uncle Sam.

Hey, it's funny, I just received the same letter stating I was also a winner of 1.9 million dollars, and I have until May 28th to reply. And it also requested I send in $19.99 for some lame Report Fee, attn: APR Offices........

Not likely legit. There are a lot of scams around these days claiming that you won some huge amount. If they ask for any personal info, or ask for any money for "delivery charge" for your prize or "advance taxes" or anything like that, it's a scam.

****.. Well, luckily I didn't give a check.. the only information they have is my address (which is how I got it in the mail in the first place) and they wanted $19.99 report fee, so I just gave a money order. No personal info or anything, but hey.. it was junk food money, anyways.

Damn, I can't believe I let myself get played... Thanks for the info.
