wow, some body that has done some homework. you are looking for a holistic brand of food & an excellent choice IMO is California Natual. you can google "natura" or just CN & check the store locator tab. It has only 7 ingredients so less to cause problems

There is no decent food from the grocery store or WM & while there are a few decent ones at some of the pet stores the majority are found at feed mills, goom shops or health food stores.

those of you using Purina food really need to do some research as to what you are feeding. Purina is full of corn, wheat soy - all allergens to dogs. full of by-products, artificial preservatives & other cancer causing chemicals. Here is some info you should read

Canidae All Life Stages, Chicken Soup, Wellness, innova, Solid Gold, Fromm, Merrick just to name a few are excellant quality foods for your puppy right into adulthood.
No cheap fillers, no by products..just good ingredients.

I am not sure of your location, but stay away from Science Diet, Purina, and Eukanuba!!! The worst dog foods are found at grocery stores like Ole Roy and store brands.

Look out for by-products and meals! Also, it has to be certified by the AAFCO. “Meat” refers to only cows, pigs, goats and sheep, and only includes specified muscle tissues.

Eagle Pack, California Natural, Solid Gold, Natural Balance, and Flint River Ranch (which can be found online) are some of the best!

Most good quality foods are more expensive; but are diffidently worth it! People don't know it but most of the dog's health problems are caused by the dog food they feed.

I use Royal Canin. They make dog foods especially for the breed of your puppy.
