If uare talking about the daily 5 prayers, well its a constant reminder of our purpose to be on Earth. Removes the filth from our hearts.Removes our sins, and helps stay away from them since what we say from our tongue while praying keeps us reminded of our actions. Also its Allah blessing that keeps us away.
"If a man bathes in a stream outside his house 5 times a day will there remain any filth on his body?"

They don't. Only choosing not to sin keeps a person away from sin.

If you pray for God in Jesus name to help you not sin, he will help you, if you are saved, because He only hears the prayers of his children. If you asked your father to help you fix something, wouldn't he? He might already know you need to fix it, but he might wait until you ask to help you, because you may think you can do it all alone, even if you can't. So God will help you if you ask. ***Also, just praying and reading your Bible and spending time with God causes you to be more like God, and God doesn't sin! Good question.

They don't. Only the person can keep themselves away from sin. But of course sin, is a bible term. Lets just say doing wrong.

It doesnt keep you away from sin, but praying to God to give you the strength to resist temptation can help you stay away. Trust God and He will show you a way to follow Him and avoid the way of sin.

Prayer is communicating with and drawing closer to God. God is without sin. So praying is getting farther from sin.

it purifies there soul, by praying five times a day you are able to beg for forgiveness and purify your soul more oftenly, a prime example from fajr prayer to zohar prayer imagine how much sim one may have comitted within those hours, by prayin you are able to attempt to interact with god, also beg for forgivness

All men were born into sin...and on their way to destruction...without the sacrifice of Christ noone could be saved...
