I had my gall bladder removed 1 1/2 years ago. Lately, I really have a lot of stomach upset, gas, and nausia. I am a 64 year old woman in good health but this has me puzzled. If it is because of the removal of the gall bladder, is there anything I can take to neutralize the gas? HELP!

I take Pepcid Complete for the symptoms you are describing. I had my gall bladder removed for that reason but it continued to happen.

you might have gastritis which is inflammation of the lining of the stomach. My GI doc put me on prilosec. I still have my gallbladder but at first they thought my problem was gallbladder. Be careful about your fat intake and don't eat anything acidic like tomato sauce or orangjuice. Its been hard but I feel so much better. you might want to go in and get evaluated.

I have the same thing. I take sodium bicarb 10GR twice a day. Cheep with no side effects.
