If youve got 360, there is a bug in the latest update. Rollback or do a system restore. Start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore. In Vista just type in system restore in search. I would also make sure I'm not running more than one Anti virus and NOT running AOell optimized (optimized for THEM, not for you) or AOell security edition.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but unfortunately this is very common with Symantec's products. They use ALOT of system resources (making your PC run slow) and they have a tendency to break from their own updates. My advice would be to switch to another brand with a better reputation (AVG at grisoft.com is good, they have both anti-virus and anti-spyware available, even the free version at free.grisoft.com is better then Symantec's stuff)
If your intent on sticking with what you have I would recommend uninstalling it and then reinstalling it. If that doesn't help you then definitely call Symantec, you pay for a subscription and they are obligated to help you with any problem you might have. Good luck!

Run a scan then do a Disk Defragment. But if your computer does it again, run slow and freeze then you need to call around and ask for some one to fix it.
It does that to mines except my father fix it if I can not lol

I would suggest running the "hijack this" tool. It will give you a diagnostic of your system. You can find it via google.
