Bobby Labonte used to be the master of Lowes Motor Speedway. But he had a better team then.As long as he stays with Petty the wins will be few if any at all.

Just a few years ago Bobby was in first place when a red flag flew in the closing laps of the race. Jimmie Johnson passed him when the green flag flew, and Bobby finished second. Bobby could win at Lowes, but there are no guarantees. If he's going to win anywhere, he has a great chance here.

It would be way cool to have Labonte win. Think good thoughts and cross the fingers! Go Bobby!

I'm a Jeff Gordon fan, but I would NEVER count Bobby Labonte out. He is a very talented race car driver and knows what he needs to do to win races. If I had to pick 1 driver to win the race, other than Jeffie, he would be one of my top choices.

Oh I sure hope so. I just love Bobby, I've been a fan for several years. I like Jimmy J, but I'm sick of seeing the same few faces in victory lane. And as for it being 'Jimmy's house' as was stated during the All Star Race as well as here, looks like Kevin Harvick may have put in a change of address card for Jimmy. Anything is possible and I hope Bobby "gets 'er done!!!"

Ooh, I sense a fellow Labonte fan! Oh yeah! I'd love to see him win. He used to be a master at Lowe's, he's a former winner, and he's had 11 top 5's here. So let's say yes.

He could win. Last year he finished 5th. He has 1 win at Lowes in 2000 but he has 11 top 5's and an average finish of 10.5. Most of his good finishes were with better equipment, but his 5th place finish was with Petty. So I wouldn't count him out.

This type of track suits Bobby's driving style real well. I wouldn't be against seeing Bobby and the 43 in Victory Lane.

I would love to see Bobby run good at Lowes. i always liked him, but I don't think he has the team or equipment to run at the front. Anytime he has ran up front the past couple years, his engine always blows... I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see him running in the top 10 at lowes, much less winning.

Dont think he will have a chance, but the guy is one of the most deserving in Nascar for a win. Class act and everyone else has tons of respect for him.
