Yes, she should have walked away, she could have stayed off a religious chat. I personally feel that this young woman needs attention. what is more of an attention getter than speaking out in a crowd any where USA. The Christian faith is one of the largest in most areas. She would do better discovering what is behind the word "atheist" as well as "agnostic" on her own and hooking up with her same like peers for discussion. A person of faith would only out show her on facts alone if she couldn't back herself up. There are alot of people who believe the same they don't need to hurt or demean anyone else. Let people live their own lives.

The preaching can get annoying. Hare Krishnas probably complain when Jehovah's Witnesses show up at their doors, too. But that said, I think dealing with street preachers, airport prophets, and mall pamphlet-passers is a small price to pay for religious freedom.

I think she was asking a fair question. If she was out in public minding her own business and had people preaching to her, she has a right not to enjoy it. I get ticked off by that stuff too. If I want to know more about your religion or faith, I'll ask. Don't assault me with your personal views.

Atheists also like to preach. You can see evidence of it all over this forum. The gist of it is that everyone wants to think they are right. Therefore, anyone who disagrees with them has to be wrong.

Whether an atheist or Muslim we all need to be tolerate of ones religious believes. My theory is that she needs to reinforce herself that what she believes is legitimate since it's very easy to say I don't believe to believers.

How very dare she...the very cheek of it huh...mind you this isn't a religious chat site, it's a site where anyone can ask anything they want about religion so I guess you got on your high horse for nothing.

She is trying to fill a void in her life and knows Jesus is the true King. She, like many are very curious, yet very scared. As she keeps seeking, she will find. Happy Sunday!!!!

The topic is religion. Atheists have an opinion about religion.
What is your question?
