'Celebrate the easter bunny'? I doubt it. Like most people, atheists 'celebrate' a day off work and an opportunity to give presents and eat chocolate.

Theists have to lose this notion that holidays have much religious significance nowadays - they're mostly an extra day off and an excuse for parties.

Many theoretically Christian holidays - Christmas, for instance - are really just old pagan holidays repurposed.

Easter predates Christianity by thousands of years. All the trappings of "The Rebirth" were borrowed from the Pagans. Spring flowers, young chicks, bunnies, eggs, all signs of Spring, and all used long before Christianity was known.
Some of you people seem to think that non-believers shun, or are repulsed by anything that suggests religion. That might be so with some, but for sure, not all.
In December, I wish people Merry Christmas. I have made mangers for people who asked me. I don't have to believe in religious superstition in order to be polite.

Some do.

And some Pagans celebrate the bunny and not the
CHRISTIAN part of Easter....

Because Easter isn't Christian. Where is the word Easter in the Bible? Eggs? Rabbits? Chocolate?

I'm agnostic, and even though I haven't decided what I believe yet, I go along with my family at Easter because I respect what they believe. But I guess for most Athiests, the answer would be yes.

Depends on the person. I am an agnostic who does not celebrate Easter at all. It is just another Sunday on the calendar.

Do you feel threatened somehow by atheists? You're asking one question after another trying to discredit their belief, for lack of a better word, while accusing atheists of being negative. Is it a way of attempting to validate your own beliefs?
