The word of God is unchanging. So if a new "Prophet" goes against what is already written as the word of God he is most likely a false prophet.
The message of Moses did not counter anything about God prior.

To accept Islam as the latest update is to accept Joseph Smith and the Mormons as the latest update.
With Moses, he was not bringing a new message but bringing a clearer message from God. Don't you remember the convenant God made with Abram.

The final update to the Scriptures are the 27 books of the New Testament.
The New Testament even tells us that the Quran is a fake.

God say: I never change. Jesus says: What readest thou. Satan says: Did God really say you must not eat?
We are warned: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."(Matthew 7:15).
Yes, there have been many, and they have deceived many, but "the meek will shall inherit the earth."
Hope the argumentative spirit on R & S does not disqualify us for Heaven, Kalebow. Jesus said the prostitutes would enter the Kingdom before those arguing religious leaders.

The massage is the same, the old scriptures and new Scriptures may have different rituals according to time, place and circumstances, but the message is the same and what is that? "You fools, give up all this business, this is may religion that is not may religion, may religion is the true one, etc, etc." "Just surrender unto Me", God says, "and come back to home." This is the real message. This message is given by God, by His son, by His servant. The message is the same. No that may scripture is the only one.

No. God is consistent thus there would be no need to abrogate the previous books. If a new revelation contradicts the previous ones than it is questionable whether the new one is really from God.

I believe in Jesus Christ.
We think Mohammed was a false prophet. "By their fruits shall you know them", said Christ. Which means that false prophets may say appealing things, but if they kill people who disagree with them, or use sinful rages to intimidate opponents, or have sex with minors, its time to leave...
Also Jesus provided salvation at huge cost. We are saved by faith, and become righteous through our relationship with God, not our religious efforts. God doesn't change His mind and switch back to a simple legalism.
Be blessed ... get yourself in the Lamb's [Jesus Christ, God's perfect sacrificial lamb] book of life and avoid the second death. Jesus is who He says He is.
