Different religions say different things. Saying all religions are right is (in my opinion) like saying 2+2=4 and 2+2=35 at the same time.

I agree with your husband, but I totally see your point.
The thing about religion is you live your life based on what you believe to be righteous. Religious people are supposed to dedicate their life to living this way. I do not believe it is up to them to judge another's religion. It's the same thing as speaking about what you know. If you are religious, it is more than likely you don't have the knowledge you need about other religions to make the ascertion that one religion is better than another.
It is different: believing in what you feel is the best religion is not the same as stating yours is the absolute best and working to undermine others religious beliefs.

I think most people believe their religion is the right one. I know I do. What is wrong is the "over zealous" who are part of each and every religion. The ones who literally try to shove their beliefs on people who don't want to have anything to do with it. Even though we "believe" the same thing, the way in which the "over zealous" person chooses to convey his or her message makes Christianity take on a different meaning than mine.
No one should be bashed for their belief, however, I do understand why "non believers" become a little worked up when an "over zealous" Christian is being self righteous by quoting massive amounts of scripture or shoving their beliefs down their throats.
NOTE* NO EXCUSE FOR BEING DOWNRIGHT GROSS, RUDE AND MEAN.
I think that action speaks louder than words and that each one of us should "walk our talk". If someone happens to take notice and wants to know more about "what makes you tick", THEN we have the permission to share our faith. Being able to share your faith is a privilege - not a right.
Sorry, I got on a roll. I think I gave you more info than you wanted :)

Religion is a way of man to make laws to try to confine each other. We should seek spirituality through a true relationship with GOD. By then and only then could we apply true love in one another, inner peace and a positive way to live to understand that we are not perfect.

I think my beliefs are right for me. I believe my Husbands are right for him. I do not think I have a right to decide what is right or wrong for anyone but myself as far as religion.

It's not about which religion is right or which religion one believes to be right. It's about faith in one god (whomever your god may be). For me, it is about faith in Jesus Christ. Various Christian religions serve as options on how to worship, that is all. No one Christian religion is right but, faith in Christ makes all of them right.

I don't know if my religion is right, I just hope it is. Nobody has any proof, I guess we'll find out on Judgement day

The people I most admire are those who say "My religion is the right one for me" and do not presume to tell others what is the right one for them.
