I have to agree with Jane & Jaime. I faithfully watch Giada's show and she has some awesome recipes.
I own over 40 cookbooks, and there are many to select Italian recipes from, but again...Everyday Italian is the best so far.
Good luck...

There are so many wonderful Italian cookbooks but I just keep going back to The Soprannos Family Cookbook. The Italian recipes are terrific, lots of beautiful pictures and tips throughout the entire book. My favorite recipe in the book is the Italian Meatball soup.

Marcella Hazen has written several Italian cookbooks and they are wonderful. She has won several awards for her cookbooks from chefs in the industry. Her recipes are authentic, somewhat traditional, and they always turn out superbly. I would go to a good bookstore that has a cookbook section and check her out for sure. She is a classic.
