hello anyone please some advice would be good.
i got a 1993 grand jeep cherokee. problem is that when i put full lock or try to turn in a tight space (u-turn) the front end jumps and feels like its really being forced to do the manouever. i did the normal checks power steering fluid level and bars, but i can't see a problem.
i was told many things it could be like wrong tire size but i use 235/75/r15 to power steering pump.
any advice please contact me at daman_malone@btinternet.com

Is your jeep full time 4WD, or Part Time 4WD. Sounds like its in 4WD to me. The front end jumping around leads me to believe your Jeep is part time 4WD which is causing the jeep to jump around due to the fact that part time 4WD systems are designed for offroad use, or only used when road conditions are slippery enough to allow the front and rear axles to turn at different speeds.

Sounds like a universal/CV joint on the end of the front axle going bad. Another possibility, is a front bearing. I would take it to another front end shop, and if possible, one that specializes in 4 wheel drives. A front end alignment may not find this problem, if they are not used to working on 4x4's. If there is a 4 wheel drive club in your area, try to contact them, and check with some of the members to see if they can recommend a reputable shop.
