I am a proofreader and there are good ones in MS word, at the moment I'm using office 2007, and it is much better than 2003 due to its updated grammar and word file. I f you would like to find proofing tools then go to google and enter "free proofing tools"http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=free+proofing+tools&btnG=Search&meta=, and you will find many on there. If you just want the basic tools without paying anything then as my friend says above download open office http://www.openoffice.org/ its fine for what it is and free.
