Humans did not evolve from modern monkeys( nor the other way around). The common ancestors of humans and monkeys go back further in the ancestral "life- family bush" than those of apes and humans do.

If humans evolved from monkeys or even apes, then why are there still monkeys or apes?
Everything else that was said to have evolved from something has only fossils of its former self to remember it by.

If that truly happened then it would still be going on today. I haven't seen any evidence of that. With all the babies being born none have evolved.
