Ask Stephen in the book of Acts where God was?
Better yet tell me where God says that none of us will die, especially as we serve Him.

Listen, I recently received my call to minister. I fell on some hard times right afterwards. (Thank God that season has passed). They happen.
I think it's foolish to believe that bad things don't happen. Christians die while serving God all the time.
Read Acts chapter 7.
I don't think any of the early disciples died a quiet happy death. (Except for maybe John, but they even tried to burn him.)
Where was God you ask?
Well if the people that were shot were saved, He was waiting on them with open arms and welcoming them into Paradise.
That's where God was.
The great thing about truly trusting in God is that death is not a fear but the beginning of perfect peace. Those people that died, if they have given their lives to Jesus, are in a much better place.
