If he is a Christian give him this scripture. You might copy this so you don't forget it.
Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Make fun of his religion. Virgin Mary? Whatever! How is a "virgin" birth any less a MYTH than Zeus giving birth to Athena from his HEAD!
Talk about how his church insisted the world was flat even LONG after Columbus had returned from America.
Mention all the evil his church has done: the spanish inquisition, the crusades, the sanctioning of slavery and their silence during the rise of Hitler's Third Reich.
Mention Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker and Ted Haggart and the Pope hiding behind lawyers when his priests were caught molesting children. Men of faith don't hide behind lawyers.
Most importantly - tell him that Jesus never harassed anyone into following him and never mocked anyone who didn't follow him and that by doing so he is turning people AWAY from Jesus which will result in him going to hell.

Tell him that you are a Satanist, and if he ever says anything to you again, you will summon Lucifer, and cause him to become possessed by demonic forces. (It is about using his own belief system against him). Alternatively, (the softer approach) tell him that Jesus only preached to people who wanted to listen to what he had to say, and would only enter the temples of the gOD of the jEWS, not those of Mithras, Juno, or Zeus, so if you want to be like him: ACT like him, and stop rabbiting on to people like you who just aren't interested in ancient mumbo jumbo. Also, if he DID come back, he would go to the Synagogues, where they keep the holy days, rituals and observances, not to cHRISTIAN cHURCHES, where the eaters of unclean animals, like pigs, assemble to perform strange ceremonies which he wouldn't have a clue about. OR: complain to the principal: you have a right to not be harrassed, and mention the possibility of a lawsuit against the school for failing in its duty to protect you against such, should inadequate action be taken! OR: say that first they tell you there are things like ghosts, monsters, Santa Claus, and the Tooth Fairy, and gOD, and the bogey man; THEN they tell you that there are no such things as everything else, but there is still a gOD, and people who lived several hundred years, and returned from the dead, and one even walked on water and was a male from a virgin birth. Say: "Tell me another one: I enjoy a good laugh!" Such a choice!! Which to choose?

I would say report it to the school. At a minimum his actions are annoying,at a maximum they can easily be construed as harrassment. And although I despise the concept usually,if he is taunting you because you don't believe in God you could argue that it's hate speech. If nothing else I'll bet if you took that argument to the school it would definitely get their attention. The idea of "hate crimes" is so politically correct that at most times it makes me want to vomit, but if your school has rules dealing with hate speech it's a tool at your disposal.
I have been through similar things myself, like being harrassed by the faculty of one High School I attended because I did not take part in mandatory morning prayers that they did every morning in direct violation of the law. Fortunately you have the potential,in this day and age,to make their life a living hell if they don't stop the actions of other students once you bring it to their attention.

Spend some time in this forum. There are plenty forward-thinking individuals here who consistently post valid, well thought out rebuttals to any claim this self-righteous blowhard might launch at you. Bone up on your knowledge, develop some clear answers for yourself, so that you can actually engage him in an intelligent conversation. You never know, you may both have something to learn from each other...

i am a Christian, but I do not push my beliefs on anyone. If the time is right to do so, then the spirit will speak through that one.
But, if someone of another faith came to me and said that I had better hear him out, I would simply say to him, that I have a way and am pleased with the way that I have chosen. But, if you continue trying to convince me otherwise, and push your views upon me, then, I believe I will have no other alternative than to report you.
"We can be very good friends, but don't go there! If i should change my point of view, then let me tell you so; but don't tell me when I should do this!!!"
Is what i would say. you can be polite, and not give up your dignity.
Your sister,
Ginger

If you've tried to ignore him and convince him to stop, then contact the teacher and tell them that they are harassing you for not believing the same thing as they do. Your right to be an atheist is protected by the Constitution. Quite possibly, you could sue him too.

Maybe your retort should be something like, "Why would I want to believe in a god that allows one human to make fun of another human?"
Then look at his face as he realizes he just messed up!
I do believe in God, but I think its everyone's personal right to believe or not to believe in what they want.
I hope who ever it is stops teasing you.

-tell him " you have your stories and I have the truth".
-If he says "I'll pray for you" (because you don't Pray)
respond with "I'll THINK for you" (because he doesn't THINK)
-Ask him to show you a picture of GOD first.
-Ask him to show you a history book (not the bible) that mentions Jesus.
-Ask him if he know that Santa is not real. He may believe that he is too.
-make this analagy "Santa and the Grinch = God and the Devil. If you are good you get gifts if you are bad you get coal = If you are good you go to heaven if you are bad you go to Hell. and finaly you say "the Santa stuff you tell kids to keep them in line because they are not smart enough to know better = the God stuff you tell the adults that are not smart enough to know better."

Just make fun of him for NOT believing. Ridicule his beliefs as much as he does yours. When he cries wolf to a teacher, you'll have just cause and a wonderful basis to sue him with.
