I have an older version of Sonic Record Now, and I've been having a lot of trouble with the blue screen of death when burning a CD. The reviews of the new versions of Roxio Media Creator (which I assume is the replacement for Record Now) are not flattering?

Nero is definitely the best, but you can get free and light CD burners here:

Sonic Record Now still exists. You may be able to upgrade your old version at Sonic. Register if you must. Mine works fine. It's been upgraded to Version 7.10 by them. If you do this I think you'll be happy.
