Eating fruits, vegetables, legumes (bean), and hand portion protein (6 oz) : chicken, beef, or fish. Stay away from pork. When eating dinner or foods, do not eat in front of the television. Television commercials or certain programs entice you to eat more. They use "subliminal" advertising. If you want a story, read a good book...get educated.
Do not drink sodas or juices that contain too much sugar. Stick to water, crystal light, sugar free apple juice, and fruit drinks.
One serving, a handful of snacks or one cup of chips is feasible. But go for the healthy alternative. Frozen grapes, berries, bananas, strawberry smoothies with little sugar, raisins, cranberries, and nuts. Trail mix is okay, but go easy on them.
Walk 1/2 hour each day, especially around the school track. Jog a little as you progress. Do not join school sports because you will have peer pressure. Take the stairs. Walk to the grocery store. Wear shoes and socks and gym clothes preferably for running. Nike shoes are the best.
Remember when eating that moderation is the key. Eat to live, not live to eat. Also gradually lose weight. Many people complain of exercising and gaining weight because they gain muscle. (That's good!) But over time, muscle will outweigh the fat, when it disappears. Muscles weigh more than fat, but fat accumulation adds to weight gain. 15 pounds in 7 weeks is too soon. You want longer results.
Good luck!

A healthy way to lose 15 lbs. is simple; you just have to eat right and excercise regularly. Focuss on the healthy foods, and a little less on junk food and things that have a lot of carbs and fats. Also, excercising will help you lose weight, because you're burning off the foods that your body doesn't use. It's bad to go overboard and excercise too much, but at the same time, you want to work enough so you work off the excess food. You've got to have the right balance.

Since you are a member of a gym you have the equipment you need. First you need to put together a weightlifting and cardio routine. You should also try to eat heathier foods. Make sure you don't try any trick diets. Just cut down on your fast food and eat a balance meal. If you would like a customized workout visit http://www.makeoverfitness.com

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Eat healthy! That means mostly vegetables and fruit. Drink lots of water. Not only does water help reduce that hungry feeling but it also helps you lose weight. The fastest way to lose fat is to gain muscle. Muscle training actually burns more fat than doing cardio. Good luck!
