The painting is in poor condition, but some say its still worth alot?

The name Casati is a fairly common Italian name and there have been hundreds of artists with the last name of Casati, most of who left not very collectible art behind.

However, if your painting happened to be painted by the once very famous Marchesa Luisa Casati then it would indeed be worth a lot of money. By the time she died in the 1950s Marchesa was the best known woman artist in Europe.

However, your are wasting our time as well as your own when you don't provide us with at least a link to a photographic copy of the painting so those of us with some knowledge of art can help you.

Yes,it is authenic painting,it will still get a good value.
