1] flatten, iron if necessary, and re-use
2] take your favorite scented soap, rub it on back of paper, and use for drawer liner [ esp. nice for baby's room - use shower paper, wedding - use dresser drawers ]
3] use for backdrop in shadow boxes, collages, etc.
4] cover a bulletin board

You can recycle the wrapping paper by using it again. You simply clip off the tape and iron it on the reverse side to get out any wrinkles. Then just reuse it. Our Recycling company in my city has big signs up that that DO NOT TAKE WRAPPING PAPER. So, this is a good way to save money for yourself and use it over again.

I guess it would be recyclable, I never receive any gifts so I wouldn't know..
