I dont know how much of the tv program House is fictional - they may base some of their stories on fact? A recent episode had a case where a guy was having in essence an allergic reaction (an involuntary reaction) to a person whom he was actually close with

allergic to someone - well that translates into you don't like them unless you are sneezing or swelling or turning red every time you get close to them. In which case there maybe something either internally or externally that you are reacting to.
Now if you just get insanely mad when your mind crosses (thinks of) them then this could be considered an allergic reaction but medically, not.

It doesn't happen often, but it has occurred. Or you might be allergic to someone's perfume or cologne.
