think people if they were honest alot would say they do fear, because it is the unknown, there are so many things that you hear daily and it is very confusing. Even as Christians some have that fear of the unknown..I am a christian and yes I did. I did for the longest time, but I am getting better though. Because being a christian at least I have something that gives me peace inside which I haven't found from no one else or from anything else. I rely on God to help me through my fear. Do I still have it, only a little, but at one time it was almost controling my life..it is not doing that now I have more control of it, or I should say God has the controll of it

Because your faith is weak! Seriously, though, I'm not talking about any religious doctrine, here, I'm talking about faith that the universe works the way it works and it is going to go the way it should. If mankind saves tomorrow, it is so. If not, it is still so. If you have a religious doctrine that you follow, your faith should tell you the same thing: that whatever it is, it is God's will and is as it should be.
Is that not the purpose of faith? So you can have the comfort of knowing right from wrong, and eliminating your fear of the future? This is what they call Finding the Lord, or Letting Jesus into your heart, or just being at peace, or one with the universe.
Have faith the the world follows some law. It may not make sense to you, and possibly never will. Philosophy and religion (heck, science, even) have been working on this one since... well, since before we were able to write or speak about it. It is the human condition, to wonder, no? Wonder, don't worry.

Because you are not filling your mind with joy, happiness and hope for the future. You are spending too much time concentrating on life's fears and negatives.
What you have in your mind is what forms your reality.
Think safe, secure, joy, excitement, fun, love, happiness, contentness and you'll find you'll be looking forward to the future, which will be a very happy and secure one.

Many of us are scared of what the future holds, but God assures us that we can feel hope for a bright future! Revelation 21:4 says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
There are many more promises that he gives us regarding our future and if you would like to learn more, please don't hesitate to e-mail me!

You are deluded by Maya and have insecurities based on attachment and ignorance. All materiality is like a dream in that it will pass. Everything...That includes this planet and this universe. Seek a spiritual life to avoid materialistic self grasping and these insecurities will also pass.

The proportion of fear is inversely correlated with the amount of control you have over your life, and the general direction of it.
If you do not have control of your life direction, you have everything to fear.

read this from the Holy Qoran:
62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve
112 Nay,-whoever submits His whole self to Allah and is a doer of good,- He will get his reward with his Lord; on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
13 Verily those who say, "Our Lord is Allah," and remain firm (on that Path),- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Stop listening to televangelists and you'll be fine. The future is what you make it, not what some "god" has in store.
