Help! Need taxes filed and the cash today!?

Does anyone know if there is a tax service that does ur taxes for you and loan you the money from your refund that day? Just found out my daughter joined the Marines and is shipping out for boot camp. Need cash TODAY!

I became very ill and bed-ridden for almost four years. It was just the two of us and everything went to ****. My credit is so low, I can't even get the freakin' equity out of my own home. HR BLOCK did my 2006 return but failed to mention they run a credit check in order to qualify for a rapid refund. I couldnt' even do that. I need to file four years prior to 2006. I know, I know. **** happens.

No one has yet to recommend a specific example or company.

Being that far away from home, I want her to be prepared for any situation that may occur. I can't send my pride and joy out into the big bad world, broke.

Just have her e-file the return and have it deposited to her checking account. Since she is going into the military she will be required to have her military pay paid via Direct Deposit so now is as good a time to start as any.

She'll have little use for the funds in Boot Camp anyway. She'll be paid shortly after her arrival so that she can pick up personal care items and probably won't be able to write any checks during her stay, at least until she gets her ID card which won't happen for a few weeks. With the refund sitting in her checking account waiting for her, she'll be good to go when she gets out of Boot Camp.

BTW, managing any significant amount of cash in basic training is the PITS. Recruits are required to keep a list of each bill by serial number and keep it up to date, both as a discipline exercise and as an anti-theft measure.

Your finance charges are based on the amount of the refund and are subject to bank approval. A rule of thumb is that the finance charges amount to about 2% of your refund. This is for a loan of 8-15 days, so if you think of the annual interest rate, yes it is expensive. There is a surcharge if you want a check printed immediately, another $30 or so.
