When the Flood took place the mountains and waterfalls was created. Where do you think the salt in lakes and rivers came from? It came from a full world flood.

This isn't about if we have education or not. You rather believe in lies of Satan rather God's word and Gods people.

No, I’m sorry to break it to you by mountains are much older. They were formed by shifting tectonic plates.

Salt lakes form when minerals and salts are carried by rivers and deposited into the basin/lake. Water evaporates but the minerals and salts remain. After a time you have s salt lake or if the water evaporates entirely you have a salt flat. Salt lakes are often saltier than oceans.

What some people don’t seem to realize is that this is an ongoing process. You could say that creation is a continual process as the planet is reshaped and rejuvenated by these great forces. When you open your eyes to the reality of our planet, you will see that it is far more impressive and wonderfully created.

I don’t mean to be harsh, but I don’t think Christians do ourselves any good when we perpetuate ignorance.

If you read the ark story as allegory, rather like reading one the parables Jesus told, you will see what a powerful message it is about trusting God during tough times.

While there is great proof of a flood, the mountains are created from tectonic plate movement. The world was known as Pangea millions of years ago, the plates moved around to form the modern geography. As plates move, the collide and land gets pushed up to form mountains and plateaus. The lakes and rivers were formed from many different things including the glaciers during the ice age. Keep asking questions. Its a good thing!

Honey, you really need to study geology. You really do. Mountains are pushed up by geologic forces and plate movement. That means what is on the floor of the ocean thousands of years ago, is now on top of mountains. The Flood would have nothing to do with it.

There is ample evidence that there were multiple great floods, some coinciding in the same time period, some not. There is no evidence that a single flood covered the entire planet. It's just a story.

Do you really think that, because Noah's ark came to rest on a mountain, that it wasn't there before the flood? The flood didn't create mountains - earthquakes and platonic movements did. Waterfalls are created by melting ice from the mountain peaks, and by rainfall.

There isn't enough water on the entire planet to cover all the mountains of the world. You need to remember something: when the story of Noah's Flood was written, they only knew about a very small section of the world. There WAS a flood, but it couldn't have possibly covered the ENTIRE Earth - the water just wasn't there. As to where the mountains came from - please look up "tectonic plates" and "vulcanism".

No, Noah's flood is pure mythology. Plate tectonics is the correct answer. The lakes and rivers have nothing to do with a "full world flood"... it sounds like someone is feeding you lies and brainwashing you.

Satan does not exist - he is also mythology.

The mountains were formed when the underlying geological plates on which landmasses sit, shift, and collide into each other. Mountains forming have nothing to do with floods.

I truly believe in the Flood but I don't think the world was changed, just all the people and other life forms were destroyed that could not survive in the flood.

I don't remember mountains being created in the flood. I could be wrong, I could go read up on it again...but I always thought that the mountains were created at other times. I'm pretty sure there were some created in the beginning of the earth and also when Christ died and there was great tumult. But I could be wrong. I get your drift, though. A lot of people don't believe the flood happened, but I don't see why they wouldn't when we have the Bible to prove it. Ancient script>science.

Mountains come from the remnants of volcanoes or from the movement of the tectonic plates that cause earthquakes.

Salt water is primarily in the ocean, small amounts of salt and other minerals in lakes and rivers comes from erosion.

Waterfalls and such are a result of rain on the mountains.

You must be homeschooled....
