It's unfortunate that you "caught" him. Hopefully his private viewing habits will become more private. But trust me on this, as long as it wasn't something illegal (ie kiddie porn) this should not demean your father in your eyes at all. I'm sure mom has a suspicion as well. The dirty little secret that guys have is that since the internet was brought to pretty much every household, an overwhelming majority of guys have a look at these things once in awhile.

Perhaps your mom is not providing his "manly needs" so he turns to porn. Often after several years of marriage one spouse starts taking the other spouse for granted. A HEALTHY man has a sexual drive.....EVEN after they have kids. When I was a 14, I discovered my dad's PlayBoy collection under his bed and I was mesmerized by it. You dad may lack descretion but as long as it is not the GROSS kind of porn then I wouldn't worry. Ask yourself this....does your mother show much affection to your father? Does your mother care enough to make herself attractive to your father? If NO....then you have your answer. Perhaps your father wants your mother to catch him watching porn as a way to communicate that she is not being a wife to him.... Perhaps he wants you to catch him so you will tell your mother... You have not provided enough details to make a proper diagnosis...
If it is a perverted type of porn.....then I would be concerned. But if it is normal acts of coitus...then MYOB.

Many men watch porn though they are married, though this doesn't automatically mean it is right but if you are concerned pluck up the courage to tell him that you don't think it is right when he has your mum and it upsets you.
