If you have had one, what do you think?
And should the peanut butter be on top or below? I personally find it easier spreading banana on peanut butter than vice versa.

First you need a multi grain bread-something lots of wonderful seeds and some texture-no wonderbread here.
Then chunky peanut butter smeared on the first slice of bread-a little too much peanut butter is just right.
then slice half a banana and press the slices into the peanut butter.
Then a drizzle of honey over the banana slices, then the second slice of bread.
Wash it down with a tall cold glass of milk. Then you'll need a nap.
Mmmmmmmmmmm

They're awesome.. You mention "spreading banana on peanut butter".. So, I'm guessing that you must squish up the bananas or something? The way I had them growing up was to take the bread, put some peanut butter on, put SLICES of bananas on it and then another piece of bread. (Sometimes what I would do would be to put half the amount of peanut butter on each piece of bread so that they stuck nicely to the bananas from both sides of the sandwich :))...

Also.. Peanut butter and cucumber slices is good too.. and also.. peanut butter and lettuce is also good.. (I personally like it with a crunchy iceberg lettuce).

:)

Ooh, I love peanut butter! I also like bananas but I've never had them both in a sandwich! Must try that.
It makes more sense speading the peanut butter and then putting the banana on top.

I have never tried this mixture but it's a good idea. If I was to make it then I would mash the banana on a plate first then spread it on top of the peanut butter.

Finally, someone else who eats them. Best sandwich ever, and I'd agree the peanut butter has to go on the bottom, otherwise you end up with banana all over the worktop. If you want something even better, try adding a couple of marshmallows and sticking it in a brevel...mmmmmm

I recommend peanut butter and salad in a sandwich - yes I know it sounds rank, thats what I thought until I had to eat one I was made, to be polite and it turned out to be really nice. You need salted peanut butter though really.

I have never tried a peanut butter sandwich, however, I have heard that if you spread it on both sides of the bread then it gives more taste.
