I have had this experience, when I was 5 or 6 the bedroom was dark, my brother was in bed next to me and he saw it too,
A figure almost as tall as the doorway, full of shining colors. Mostly purples and blues...we were so scared we built a fort from our bedsheets and hid. I looked again and it was gone.
Could it have been? My guardian angel?
My friend has the ability to sense the supernatural and she says it was...and even told my my angels name.
Your thoughts please.

Matthew 18:10 states, "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."
There is no doubt, as revealed in scripture that angels help protect,reveal information, guide, provide for and minister to believers in general (Hebrews 1:14).
I haven't seen my "guardian angel" ... But perhaps you saw yours!

Angels are spirit beings (Hebrews 1:14), so they do not have any essential physical form. It definitely seems that angels have the ability to take on human form. In Genesis 18:1-19, God and two angels appeared as men and actually ate a meal with Abraham. Angels appear as men many times throughout the Bible (Joshua 5:13-14; Mark 16:5). The angelic creatures described in Isaiah 6, Ezekiel 10, and Revelation 4-5 appear quite unusual. So, angels have some form of “spiritual body” but likely we are currently incapable of truly understanding their form. Angels also have the ability to take on other forms, such as human, in order to appear to us in a manner we can understand. Whenever angels did appear to humans in the Bible, it resulted in fear, amazement, and wonder (see Daniel chapter 10).

In Hindu culture we call them Kul Devta / Kul Devi . I had such an experience when I practicing bayonet fighting. Tears started rolling out of my eyes and my feet could not rest on ground.

Have thou on no account experienced the affection and education of your mom and dad and the caress of your acquaintances? What greater shall there be to parent angels? we are all angels in a manner as all of us come on earth with one wing related to us for our own power yet while we sense low, our families and acquaintances deliver approximately their 2d wing and grow to be the parent angels.

Guardian angels have a website now... they're always looking for new members. I've only seen them on TV.

I believe in spirit guides and this is what your description sounds like. Mine is so tall he could look in a second story window. Yes, they are with us to help us grow. And to warn us too.

Yeah, I've seen them, for some reason they wore red hats and rode loud bicycle looking things. Kind of like Elijah's vision.
