at present there are 160 thousand American troops in iraq. Your question cannot be answered the way you would like it to be answered. An ENTIRE army has NOT been mobilized...It is estimated that at least 4000 troops are looking for the missing gi's...get your facts straight if you expect an intelligent answer.

What difference does it make? What if it was YOU? You'd be praying someone was looking for you. What if it was YOUR kid. You'd just write him off, right? Would you say, "OH, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING FOR HIM, WE CAN ALWAYS HAVE OTHERS."
You seem to have a problem with our troops looking for the missing men. Just thank God it's NOT you or one of YOUR family. But you wouldn't give a rat's a.s.s., would you.
Your attitude is the same as those who turned their backs on our POW's in Viet Nam and let them rot in those places.
Those men aren't MIA's ya dork. The military KNOWS what happened to them. My uncle was an MIA in S. Korea...no one knows what happened to his body.

Perhaps you should rephrase your question or accept an answer that is close to the answer you are looking for.
It is the commander of the US forces in Iraq.
