Nerve conduction study what will defeat this test?

If one takes a large dose of lorazapam or valium will this hide or defeat the test? EMG study will the lorazapam defeat this test also?? Hate the test to begin with

I am going for a EMG and I am on morphine. The whole idea of this test is foolproof!

Probably not as these two drugs don't really affect nerve impulses. They mostly slow down the brains ability to process the impulses it receives.
