No. Multi vit can give some vitamins only. A balance food has many otherthings
1. Water (fluid)
2. Minerals (iron, calcium etc..)
3. Carbo hydrates, fats and proteins.
4. Fibers.
Missing your meals can cause other problems - The acid formed in stomach can cause peptic ulcer.
Constipation,
Insomnia
Pressure on kidneys - esp lack of water.- renal stones.
Try to take your meals regularly. No substitute for that.
Further, the vitamins tablet can give you vitamins in a fixed quantity. Either more or lesser than your requirement. Taking the vitamins from food is always better.

Not at all. Vitamins help to unlock the nutrients inside the food we eat. A lot of the vitamins on the market today are considere bedpan bullets by health providers, meaning you take them in, and when they come out they look exactly the same. You haven't really absorbed anything from it. The more expensive vitamins tend to work best, but no vitamin can replace food.

A lot of people think that vitamins can replace food. They cannot. In fact, vitamins can not be assimilated w/o ingesting food.
Like my medical professor said, you cannot take vitamins, stop eating, and expect to be healthy.
Though vitamins are used to make substances that are vital participants in many of the chemical reactions ion our cells, they do not enter into the tissue structure and do not undergo degradation for purposes of providing energy
Make sure that if you take vitamins, try also to eat something so that it can be absorbed by the body

Multivitamins cannot replace a healthy balanced diet, and in fact, some studies are showing that excessively taking vitamins will increase your risk of devloping cancer.
If it's really a problem, then you should see a doctor.

I don't think they can replace it, but they are supplements to the meals so you should try to eat.
