Why yes they certainly do and all the more reason for those children, who's parents are obviously struggling, whether morally or financially, to receive some unconditional love from "strangers" who quickly embrace them as family!

I was one of those kids! My parents would lay in bed on Sunday mornings and let the church bus come through the neighborhood and scoop me up (Pajama's and all). I would get to church and two little old ladies were assigned to greet me and take me to my class room and then sit with me in the "big church." They always helped to make sure that I got the "sugar donut" after church too. :) Yum!

I am very grateful for those times and memories in spite of the obvious neglect of my parents on Sunday mornings.

I have been a vbs teacher. Some parents agenda was to get some free time, I'm sure. But hurray to them that they choose a godly place for their children. I don't care, as long as they come.

Yes. I've taught VBS and can see why the parent does that! But the children are all precious to God and will have memories that last a life time.
