When my eye doesn't open, I rub the top of the lid and it will slowly open. If I don't rub it I can force it open but it is very hard to open. What is happening?

You may have an issue with the muscle that controls your eye lid, or you may just have alot of crusties that won't go away unless you rub them away. I would definately go see your doc, it may be nothing and it could be something serious.

Something has fallen in your eye which causes this. Wash your eyes before going to bed. If it does not give relief in 2 days, see a doctor.

Maybe it is on strike or both eyes are in some intangible understanding that they should save energy by not being in use both at the same time!
