I mean doesn't it take the mystery away if you can just call him up. I love my beliefs but this kind of message makes me switch off. I prefer the mystery, I respect that more

Actually he is a lot easier to get in touch with than that.

Remember where Jesus told us he lived?

The kingdon of the father is within us. Many religions tell us that God lives on a far off cloud called heaven. What they are saying is that there are things that are not of God. This is not true.

The universe and everything in it exists as a part of God. Nothing exists that exists outside of God. If we could travel to the most distant moon it the universe and go to the back side of it and pick up any rock, each and every grain of sand under that rock would still be from the same God.

God is not over there somewhere while something else is over here. All of it is God. Each and every one of us and everything else that exists, exists, lives breaths and moves within this idea of God as a part of God. To see it any other way is to put a limitation on something that cannot be limited, God.

No, He's actually easier than that to talk to. All you have to do is pray! (Just talk to Him - He loves to listen!)
My bet is the 0800 number was a toll free number for info about the church, or the particular ministry that was there that day.
However, if your church starts pressuring you for money (or tithes as some churches call it) - LEAVE! They are not adhering to the Gospel!
I wish you all the best!

It's actually easier. No need for wires or equipments - just a sincere heart. Call on Him anytime, anyday, whatever the circumstance and whatever your condition. He'll listen for sure. The answer depends on when He feels is best.

It's easier than that. Just start talking. No subscription. Dial tone or anything. But be in a quiet place and have some patience if you expect an answer back.

Well, at least it was a freephone number which makes a change. Church people normally want to take as much as they can off you.

No, but in a day and age of cell phones, its a very cute idea. Our Christian group online did emails to God...it was both fun and enjoyable.
