Its on the frame rail on the drivers side. Considering its on the inside part of the frame, has pressurized fuel and will create a mess on the floor, I'd let the dealer change it on your next oil change. They can put it on a lift where their tech will have easy access to it and any mess they can clean up rather than in your garage.
Also be sure to use a Motorcraft fuel filter. Since its fuel, I wouldn't mess with anything but factory parts.

Located in the fuel tank with the fuel pump, one piece unit.

Inside of rail behind the cab, Be careful when taking hoses off you don,t get gas on you watch your eyes , You will need a special tool to take it off, Be aware on how it goes back look at the arrow, hope this helps.
